Travelling deeper into Finnish Lapland — from Ruka or Kuusamo up to Saariselkä or Ivalo — is one of the most rewarding legs of any Arctic winter trip. How the private transfer works
Our transfer is a door-to-door private service in a modern van for up to 8 passengers. We pick you up from your hotel, cabin or the airport in Ruka or Kuusamo and drive you across Finnish Lapland to Saariselkä or Ivalo — or the reverse leg back south. The vehicle is yours alone: no sharing with strangers, no fixed timetable, and a comfort stop along the way.

The transfer is €700 per vehicle, one way — not per person — which makes it excellent value for families and groups of up to 8. Included:

Routes we cover
We run the transfer in both directions: Ruka & Kuusamo → Saariselkä, Ruka & Kuusamo → Ivalo, and the return legs back to Ruka or Kuusamo. Airport pickups and drop-offs are welcome at Kuusamo, Ivalo and Rovaniemi airports — just share your flight details when you book so we can time the pickup.
Why choose a private transfer over the bus?
A private van saves hours over piecing together public transport in winter, keeps your group together, protects you from the cold between connections, and lets you leave when it suits you. With luggage space for ski bags and suitcases and a warm vehicle throughout, it is the most comfortable way to move between Ruka/Kuusamo and the Saariselkä–Ivalo area.
