How much does it cost?
The experience is €650 per person, with a minimum of 2 people per booking. That covers the whole day — including the round-trip transfer from Ruka or Kuusamo, so there are no hidden extras for getting to the ship.
When does it run?
The icebreaker only operates when the sea is frozen hard enough to break — roughly 1 December to 15 March. This deep-winter window is also when Lapland is at its most magical, with snow-covered forests and long, dark aurora nights.

What's not included
Food and drinks are not included, so bring snacks or plan to buy en route. You should also bring your own warm winter clothing, warm footwear and a camera — the survival suit is only worn for the float itself.
